Bucket elevator

The Bucket Elevator is a vital piece of equipment in the AAC production line, designed for vertical lifting of powdered or granular materials such as lime. It is typically used to transfer raw materials from ground-level storage or processing units (like ball mills or silos) to elevated points for subsequent mixing or dosing.

By enabling stable, efficient, and dust-free vertical transport, the bucket elevator ensures uninterrupted material flow and supports the continuous operation of upstream and downstream systems, making it a core link in the raw material preparation section of AAC production.

Product Performance: A Key Vertical Conveying Solution in AAC block Production Lines

By enabling stable, efficient, and dust-free vertical transport, the bucket elevator ensures uninterrupted material flow and supports the continuous operation of upstream and downstream systems, making it a core link in the raw material preparation section of AAC block production.

Working Principle

The bucket elevator operates on a centrifugal or gravity discharge principle, using a closed loop of buckets attached to a rotating belt or chain:

● Materials are fed into the inlet hopper at the bottom section.

● As the drive motor powers the belt or chain, the buckets move upward vertically inside a sealed casing.

● The buckets scoop up materials from the inlet and lift them to the top discharge point.

● At the top, the materials are discharged by centrifugal force or gravity into a chute or processing equipment.

● The empty buckets then return downward and repeat the cycle.

● This mechanism allows for continuous, efficient lifting of materials with minimal spillage or contamination.

Advantages and Features

High Lifting Efficiency

● Can transport bulks to a high elevation and maintain throughput.

Small Footprint

● Vertical layout conserves floor space and can fit well into crowded plant area.

Dust-Free Process

● The completely enclosed casing insulation material can stop dust from spilling, and the work environment is relatively clean to avoid injury.

Rugged Design

● Buckets are made of wear-resistant, heavy-duty steel that is reinforced with a lateral bending plate on the sides for added rigidity.

Low Operating Costs

● High efficient drive concept allows operation of the complete system even at constant throughput.

Easy to Integrate

● Can be integrated seamlessly with ball mills, silos, mixers and dosing systems of the AAC block production line.
